This is a very pretty vintage yarn. The color is an icy-seafoam aqua. The spin is different from a lot of mohair yarns, in that the core is more substantial, and the halo slightly less pronounced (compared to the Louet mohair, for instance). I think it would make a lovely shawl or throw, either knitted, crocheted or woven.

 

I haven't been able to find out much about this yarn; it's not in the Ravelry database, which is rare. I believe it is from Italy (at least the storage bags it came in were labeled as such).
